MONTHLY NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2022

Welcome back to another issue of our newsletter. This month's edition will highlight some of the exciting events and activities that occurred in October. The Relationship Seminar, Pastor Appreciation Day, Children's Church, and the Care Ministry's Health Fair.

"Understanding Relationships"

Pastor Frank Legette III , Relationship Expert led a three-day seminar. During this seminar, the church learned how to understand consensual relationships, the roles husbands and wives play in marriage and the key to successful relationships. "You make me sick," "When Love is Not Enough," and other topics were discussed. Pastor Legette provided insightful information, allowing those in attendance to learn and get answers to all of their relationship questions.

The Bible says in Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it" and in Ephesians 5:22-33 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord".

"Pastors Appreciation Day"

On October 22,  the church expressed its gratitude to Pastor Wayne Jamel and welcomed his wife Mercy Jamel officially. The Church membership and well-wishers came together for a special lunch in honor of the pastor. The members had the chance to share kind words and memories of or with Pastor Jamel at that time.

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed your appreciation and shared your well wishes.

"Children's Church "

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Children's Church on October 29, 2022, on behalf of the Children's Ministry Department. The Creation story was the main topic of the program run by the kids. Delone Carter, the hour's preacher, presented an engaging and animated account of the creation story. The children also participated in arts and crafts, storytelling, and beautiful singing.

"Fall Health Fair"

The Fall Health Fair on October 31 was a success thanks to the attendance of the community, volunteers and support of the Care Ministries Department. The church was able to help the community by offering a range of health examinations. Along with mental health and healthy living consultations, people could get their blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, weight, and eyes checked. In addition, there were recipes available for people to try making their own healthy teas and snacks. The audience members gave their appreciation and expressed their eagerness for the next one.
